Makers, Educators, Community Organisers, Social Innovators - Brussels (Belgium) - Deadline 18/10/2026
City Mine(d) opens its second OASis call in Brussels, Belgium, and invites 5 international makers, educators, community organisers and social innovators to work with a group of local contributors from 9 to 20 November 2026.
Makers, educators, community organisers and social innovators form the human infrastructure behind resilient urban development. Makers prototype practical solutions that cities cannot always source top-down, while educators build the skills and civic awareness residents need to actively shape their environment.
Community organisers connect neighbourhoods and institutions, surfacing grassroots needs and holding power accountable, and social innovators tie it all together by designing new models — in housing, mobility and services — that make cities more adaptive and inclusive from the ground up.
Requirements:
An active practice as a maker, educator, community organiser or social innovator.
A convincing argument in the Expression of Interest form provided.
Previous experience of working independently abroad on topics related to urban diversity, social innovation and participation.
A good knowledge of French.
Availability in Brussels between 9 and 21 November 2026.
What we offer:
An artist fee of €1.200 gross.
